1. Nature of the Platform

This website is the "Engineering Materials Redistribution Platform" operated by Tsuen Lap Electrical Engineering Co, principally displaying and offering for sale engineering materials acquired by the Company. Customers may browse product images, brands, specifications, reference stock levels and availability without registration or login.

Please note: this website does not support online ordering or online payment.

The "Quote List" function on this website serves only to assist customers in compiling products of interest and submitting them to the Company via WhatsApp in one go. After a customer sends the list via WhatsApp, a dedicated member of staff will follow up by confirming prices, verifying stock and arranging delivery or collection. All transactions are concluded only upon confirmation by both parties; nothing shown on this website constitutes a formal offer or commitment by the Company.

2. Transaction and Enquiry Process

• Purchasing: browse the products on this website, add them to the Quote List and send it via WhatsApp in one click; our staff will reply as soon as possible to confirm prices, available quantities and delivery or collection arrangements.
• Cannot find what you need: submit the name, specification, brand and quantity of the required materials on the "Find Materials" page. The system will instantly create a reference number and generate the WhatsApp message content, and we will assist in sourcing and allocating suitable supplies.
• Materials to sell: complete the form on the "Sell Your Materials" page, or send photographs, models and quantities of the materials directly to the Company via WhatsApp. Submission of information does not constitute any commitment by the Company to purchase; actual arrangements are subject to confirmation by our staff.

3. Delivery and Collection

• Free delivery: for a single purchase totalling HK$5,000 or above, the Company arranges free delivery to a designated location within Hong Kong (remote areas or special delivery requirements are subject to separate arrangement).
• Self-collection: customers may make an appointment to inspect and collect goods at the Company's Kwai Chung office.
• Below the free-delivery threshold: for purchases below HK$5,000, customers may choose self-collection, or the Company may arrange delivery on their behalf at the customer's cost, with the delivery charge quoted and confirmed before despatch.

4. Material Recovery Services

Materials recovered by the Company are mainly engineering categories in common use with relatively high marketability. Each recovery case is assessed on the marketability of the materials, the Company's existing stock levels and the expected resale value, and not all categories or quantities can be accepted. Uncommon specifications, non-engineering materials, or items of which the Company already holds sufficient stock may not be purchased. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Recovery prices are determined according to the condition and marketability of the materials. They are generally below market retail prices but substantially higher than the residual value of disposing of the materials as scrap. A clear quotation is provided before any recovery, with transparent pricing and no hidden charges. Once confirmed by both parties, a formal sale and purchase contract is signed and settlement is made on the same day.

Where the estimated value of the goods reaches HK$3,000 or above, the Company arranges free on-site inspection and collection. For goods below HK$3,000 in estimated value, the customer may deliver the materials to the Company's office, or hold them until the accumulated value reaches the threshold, whereupon on-site collection will be arranged.

5. Consignment Service for Bulk Materials

For customers holding larger quantities of engineering materials (e.g. several thousand pieces), the Company offers a consignment service: the materials are offered for sale via this platform on the customer's behalf. Upon a successful sale, the delivery costs are borne by the Company, and the Company charges only 30% of the sale price as platform service and handling fees. If the materials are ultimately not sold, the Company charges no fees whatsoever and the customer bears no cost.

6. Statement on Material Condition

All engineering materials sold by the Company are guaranteed to have never been installed or used. Customers should note, however, that "never used" does not necessarily mean "brand-new in unopened packaging": for example, where 300 metres remain of an original 500-metre reel of cable after completion of a project, those 300 metres, though the reel has been opened and are not brand-new, have absolutely never been used, and their quality is no different from new material. The Company truthfully states the condition, actual quantity (e.g. metres, pieces) and batch origin of each product in the product information, and customers may inspect the goods on site at the time of delivery or collection and complete the transaction only when satisfied.

The Company never sells any scrap, used materials, dismantled parts, or damaged or defective items.

7. Returns and Inspection

Customers should check the model, specification and quantity of the goods on site at the time of delivery or collection. If, after receipt, the goods are found to materially fail to match the particulars confirmed by both parties, please contact the Company within three working days of receipt and we will follow up as soon as possible. As engineering materials come in a great variety of specifications, once goods have been inspected and delivered, no return or exchange will be accepted unless the goods fail to match the confirmed particulars. We apologise for any inconvenience.

8. Stock and Information for Reference Only

Stock quantities, availability status and images shown on this website are for reference only; actual stock is subject to confirmation by our staff. As materials are acquired and sold in batches, stock levels may change at any time. If an item has not yet arrived or is not listed in the catalogue, customers may still submit details via the "Find Materials" function and we will assist in sourcing and allocation.

9. Personal Data

Contact details submitted by customers via the forms on this website or WhatsApp are used solely for purposes relating to enquiries, quotations, purchases and delivery or collection. Please refer to the Privacy Policy and the Personal Information Collection Statement on this website for details (in the event of any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail).

10. Disclaimer

The Company endeavours to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website but gives no warranty as to its completeness or timeliness. The final price, quantity and delivery terms of any transaction are subject to confirmation by both parties or the formal sale and purchase documents signed by the parties. The Company reserves the right to amend the content of this website and this Notice at any time without prior notice; the amended terms shall be as published on this website from time to time.
